Landfill Gas – China – VERRA

Description

The project captures the landfill gas that would have been released to the atmosphere and utilises the gas to generate electricity.  The electricity is supplied to the China Southern Power Grid (CSPG) to replace the electricity generated from traditiaonl coal-fired power plants.  The project supports Affordable and clean energy, Decent work and economic growth and is actively mitigating Climate Change.
